A Little of What We Learned This Week…

 

The Letter Bb

This week we learned several new letters. One of them was the letter Bb. Mrs. Messner brought in a game called the “Bb hive”.

We all had cards with pictures on them. Some began with the “B” sound, some did not. We had to figure out which ones did and which ones did not. If we had a card with a picture beginning with the “B” sound, we got to “buzz like bees” to the bee hive to place our picture on the hive.

Look how many words we found that begin with the “B” sound!

AB Patterns

In math this week we learned what an AB pattern is. We also got to make the AB pattern with linking cubes.
