Busy Days in Kindergarten!

This past week was packed full of learning and playing.

Community Helper-Fireman John and crew visit our school

We had a surprise visit from the Cook Springs Fire Department last Tuesday. Mrs. Donna’s husband is “Fireman John” the chief of their department. (she is the K3 teacher). He and his firemen and a firewomen brought their fire truck, and rescue truck for us to see. It was so exciting! Especially when they turned on the lights and the siren’s!!! Was it ever loud!! We could feel our hearts beating!! Here are some pictures of us that day.

Mr. John gave all of us a packet that had all sorts of cool things in it. A 911 coloring book, crayons, stickers and a punch out fire truck.

Fireman John is finding out how much we know about what to do if there’s a fire or and emergency. He was impressed with how smart we are!!

This is the K3, K4, K5, and 1st & 2nd grade classes.

 

They invited the 3rd and 4th grade classes to get their pictures made also. This is the 3rd and 4th grade with Mrs. Crotts.
