Our P.T.F. Program 2010

This past Monday, our class, along with the 1st and 2nd grade classes had the program for our first P.T.F. meeting. They worked very hard to learn their lines and I worked very hard on their props.

We did an adaptation of Aesop's Fable-“The Dog and the Bone”. It was the perfect size skit for our class to memorize. And we had a lot of fun getting ready for it. I thought the children were adorable! Many thanks goes to Wilson our 1st grader and Randi our 2nd grader who held up our title and ending props.  And also to my husband, Jeff, who took pictures for me.

Listening to Mr. Hedstrom (our principal) talk. One of the children was late coming in so Mr. Hedstrom took care of some announcements while we waited. Once she got there, the children knew it was getting close to time to begin our program. One of them said to Mr. Hedstrom, “Okay, you can stop talking now, --- is here and we are ready!” Ha! Ha! They are so cute!

Next, it was the 1st and 2nd graders turns. They asked Jerrel and Karli to be in their play. They did  “The Popsicle Boy” a skit based on the story of the “Gingerbread Boy”.  Jerrel was the Sunshine. And Karli was the baby at the beginning of the play.

Here is the “popsicle boy” dressed in the orange sweatsuit and Wilson who played a dog. He was so cute and very funny. The kids really got tickled when he came out.

  

After their play they did a poem about popsicles then my class joined them to sing “Praise Him, Praise Him, All Ye Little Children”.

Karli can sing quite well!!

They all did a great job!!
