Once upon a time, a little girl named Karli lost a tooth over the weekend. All week she was so excited about it, showing everyone she met the space in her teeth.
Then one morning that same week, she noticed another loose tooth!! Yippee! All day she showed the loose tooth to everyone she met. She wriggled and wriggled the tooth all during that day till when it was time to go to “after care” it had started to bleed! Did this scare her and make her cry? No indeed! It pleased her very much!! So much so that the whole class wanted to see inside her mouth to see what all the excitement was about.
Some even said they wished they had a loose tooth!!
She pulled and tugged but it would not come out.
Mrs. Messner pulled and tugged but it would not come out.
Seeing how late the time was, Mrs. Messner suggested they had better go to “after care”.
However, the little girl would not leave the tooth alone long enough to lay down for her rest.
So Ms. Michelle (MiMi to all the kids) got some thread to help her pull it out.
And the little girl pulled and tugged but it would not come out! Finally, Mimi was able to pull it out with the thread.
The little girl was so excited!! She jumped up and down and squealed very loudly!
She was so proud of her success! And very tired too. So she lay down and went right to sleep (which is quite unusual!).
THE END
(isn’t she adorable??)
