Elementary Revival Kicks Off Our School Year

Getting ready to go to our very first chapel!

This past week our Elementary hosted a “revival” of sorts. Once again, Don and Melinda Shirk and their children did an outstanding job with our kids.

They are very experienced with these type of services as they spend a big part of their summers doing Vacation Bible Schools at different churches and camps around our country.

This year’s theme was “Keeper of the Light”. Their props were wonderful and the stories and songs kept the children engaged! My class especially loved the puppet shows!!

What a great week we have had! We will now have chapel once a week on Monday’s starting Sept. 12. Each teacher will be responsible for 6 chapel services.
