P is for Popcorn and Pizza!!!

This week we learned all about letter P. My personal favorite because of all the fun things you can do with letter P.

First of all the kids had earned 20 stars for getting their name written (hopefully neatly-we are working on that) on their papers in 10 seconds or less. I had told them when they got to 20 they would get a treat. (This is the 2nd time they have earned 20).

What better surprise than Popcorn!! It went right with letter P and they loved it. That was our snack.

On Monday of last week the children took home, “homework”. They each had a Pizza Survey to fill out. They were to ask family and friends what their favorite type of pizza was.

Wednesday, they brought their papers back in (Oh Yeah!! Everyone remembered!!). We made a graph to see what the favorite was. As you can see, there was lots of participation!! Cheese pizza was the winner by one point, with pepperoni coming in second.

 

Next we went to the lunch room and made our own pizza’s.

They were soooo excited!!

No germs please!! Everone had to wear gloves on their hands.

Jacob changed his mind about not eating pizza when he saw how yummy it looked.

It was so hard to wait! But they all did a great job! Yay for Pizza!
