Last week we had “Gingerbread Day”. What fun we had!! Earlier in the month we had “holiday homework” with the children decorating paper cutouts of a gingerbread man. They each had their own unique way of decorating them. They all turned out so cute!!

Unfortunately, Drew was out all week and didn’t get to be in these pictures. He did however, get to decorate a Gingerbread Man.
Everybody wanted their picture made by themselves with the bulletin board!
We had Gingerbread Man Marshmallows for snack! (who knew they would be soooo good!! Mrs. Messner had a hard time staying out of them!)

We made Gingerbread Man Christmas ornaments
It says “Jesus Warms My Heart” on the front.
They were so fun to make!
Everyone was proud of their finished product!
We all wore brown today to celebrate Gingerbread Men.
We also did a “gingerbread glyph” today.
Each part of the gingerbread man
was colored a certain color based on
how they answered the questions.
Everybody’s gingerbread man turned out different.
We read different versions of the Gingerbread Man story.
One was about a girl gingerbread.
One was about the boy gingerbread
And one was about a baby gingerbread.
Everyone got a gingerbread certificate for great participation!
We went to lunch early today and made
Gingerbread Cookies!!!
It was so fun to roll out the dough
and use cookie cutters to
cut out cookies!
Messy! But lots of fun!

They are delicious!
Everybody loved them!
Gingerbread Day was a hit!!
