Today, we used pattern blocks to fill in designs that “someone else” had made. This can be tricky sometimes because they don’t know exactly how the blocks are supposed to fit together, and there is sometimes only certain blocks that will work, and sometimes more than one block will work.

Landon made “so” then added the “b” to make “sob”. They asked me what “sob” meant…you should have heard me demonstrating it for them. At first they looked shocked, then started giggling. Open-mouthed smile

Christa had “Sa” and then added the “m” to make “Sam”. We also had a quick lesson in using a capital letter when writing spelling someone’s name.
