Math Fun

Here we are learning to graph the number of teddy bears according to the number rolled on a die.

This day they learned to place teddy bears on a number line based on the number rolled on the die. We were also working on the concept of “greater than and less than”.

The children are working in pairs “teaching each other” greater than and less than. (This is part of the Whole Brain Teaching method I use)

Today we weighed different classroom items to see how many teddy bears it would take to make it balance. The children “estimated”  how many bears each time before we weighed them on the “balance”. They loved doing this! IMG_8906

Working on the same concept at their desk on a worksheet.
