We got to play musical instruments one day to help us understand what a “band” is. That is one of the words we read in Phonics and some of us weren’t sure what a “band” was so Mrs. Messner took out these instruments for us to play. It was really cool and we can’t wait to do it again soon!
“The Kindergarten Band”
Daniel on the triangle…
Travis on the tambourine…
and Wilson on the maracas!
Thursday night our school participated in the Pell City Christmas Parade. It was very cold that night!! Mrs. Messner and her family and Mrs. Green and her family were able to ride on the float. Here are some pictures from that night.
The truck that pulled our float had a sign with our school name on it.
Some of the teens from our school passed out candy canes with our school’s information on them, to the crowd.
The group of us on the trailer. We had a very large Christmas tree that was decorated with red, white and blue Christmas lights.
JJorden, Andrew, and Shelby…
