This is our Nativity set in our room. It is under the Christmas tree and we love to lay in the floor and look at it. We are listening to stories about how the angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to have a baby and that He would be the Son of God! It is so exciting! We love this time of year!
This past week we spent a lot of time over at the “big church” practicing and watching the 3rd-6th grade classes practicing for the Christmas program that will take place this Monday evening, Dec. 7 at 7:00 PM. It has been a different schedule for us, but it has been a lot of fun too. Here are a couple of pictures Mrs Messner took of the older kids practicing their parts…
In between our practicing we were able to do a little bit of our school work. One day Mrs. Messner let us string popcorn and cranberries as our Math lesson. We used them to make AB and ABB patterns as well as counted how many we had put on our string. It was a lot of fun!! And our tree looks so pretty.

The finished product….
Merry Christmas!
