This week, Mrs. Messner invited our Principal’s daughter-Jessica to bring her pet “Love Birds” to our class.
Their names are Little Bit and Fiesta.
She showed us how to gently stroke their backs.
We were very good listeners!
Suddenly one tried to fly (but they can’t go far due to their wings being clipped)! It startled us at first.
But it wasn’t long before we wanted to hold them ourselves.
She showed us how to hold our finger out for them to hop on.
It was scary, but very exciting!!
“Look at me!!”
“Oh, I just love him!”
Now it is Wilson’s turn to hold the bird.
They really like to climb up your shirt.
They also love to climb up your back!
It tickles!!
They also like to climb up on your head!
These birds really like you Daniel!
They look so funny!
They REALLY tickle!!
Jessie shows us how to hold them.
Such beautiful birds God has made!
