This week we’ve been having a lot of fun getting “used” to Kindergarten. Our classroom is decorated in a Monkey theme so we’ve done a lot of monkey stuff. Friday, most everyone brought their favorite monkey to school to be their buddy. Those that forgot, or didn’t have a monkey borrowed one from our classroom.
We finished up a monkey puppet that we started on Thursday…
Hannah, working on her puppet.
Everyone stays in their seat so well!
Our new math material today is called “pattern blocks
Drew and Katelyn playing with the pattern blocks.
They are so much fun to play with!
Hannah and Jacob having lots of fun!
Who knew Math could be so much fun??
We practiced making lines and circles in Handwriting.
Everyone worked very hard to stay on the dotted lines.
And we had fun doing it!
Fridays are “Frog feeding day”.
Katelyn was the “frog feeder” this week.
Chet, our class pet…
Monkey’s on Parade!
We had a Monkey Parade today!
Stopping by the 1st and 2nd Grade class for a quick visit.
We were a little shy, but did very well!
Parading around our school…
Monkey “Share” Time.
Hannah’s monkey has a squeaker in it and it is a puppet!
Emma telling about her “old” monkey. (It used to belong to her mommy)
Katelyn (has a very snuggly monkey)
Jacob (borrowed one from the classroom. He named it “Banana’s”)
Drew (His monkey was given to our classroom by his mom and dad. It is very cute and he named it “George”)
