Since the 1st day of school we have been counting the days to reach 100! The children have been so excited about this. We love celebrating 100 days of school.
This year the kids each decorated a hat with 100 things at home with their parents.
Drew had 100 dimes on his hat!
Jacob had 100 footballs!
Hannah had 100 buttons!
Emma had 100 flowers!
Katelyn had 100 jingle bells! (Even made the shape of a K right on the front) (She didn’t want to wear her 100 shaped glasses)
We went to the art room with the 1st and 2nd graders and painted 100 fingers!
The 1st and 2nd graders came to our room to show us their 100th Day Poster projects.
Jerrel’s was a “under the sea” theme. My class was very excited to see these posters and can’t wait to do them next year!
We made a 100th day snack mix
Everyone brought in 1 item for us to use in our mix.
The kids each counted out 10 baggies of 10 items.
Of course we wore gloves!! ![]()
We had chex cerel, peanuts, m & m’s, marshmallows, pretzels, and chocolate chips.
We counted by 10’s (5 times)
Then mixed it all together…
It was delicious!!
After lunch, Mrs. Fleming and I spelled out the shape of 100 on a brownie cake.
We lit the candles….
Notice the saran wrap over the cake? Keeps all the little germs away when every one is blowing out the candles!! Ha! Ha! (yes, I tend to be a germ a phobic…)
Getting ready to blow out the candles!
Singing, “Happy One-Hundredth Day To Us”
Blowing out the candles!
Brownies are yummy!!
Unfortunately, Katelyn had already left. This is our sign of 100 fingers.
Happy 100th Day of school!
