Math Skill-“Some, Some More Word Stories”

 

Today we lined up the teddy bear counters around a “pretend pool” and had some bears jump in, then some more bears jump in. The children had to add them together to get the total number of bears in the pool. These are beginning words story problems. They loved doing it, and it is much more fun to do a word problem when you can act it out with teddy bears!!
