Working Hard on Our Scissor Skills

One of the things we work on a lot in K5 is scissor skills. For some children this is very easy. They have great small motor skills, for others it is tough. These children usually have better large motor skills (they are great with climbing, running, going up and down steps). But we practice both to try to better develop both areas.

Making Noah’s Ark

This week our Bible lesson was about Noah and his ark. Our Art project this week went right along with that. It was fun to cut out the ark and some of the animals that we could stand up. The children enjoyed re-enacting the story.

As you can see by their faces, they are concentrating hard on this project! They are great little workers!
