50 Dojo Points!

 

Yay for Katherine! She reached 50 points this week and chose to bring a “show and tell” to share with the class.

Trey also won 50 points this week. He chose to bring a “stuffed friend to school”. (I forgot to get his picture )

Landon reached 50 points too, and he chose to bring his violin

to school. (He said “you know v is for violin!”) We recently learned about the letter v.

He was so cute showing us his violin.

He chose different kids to come up front and play his violin. He will make a great teacher some day!

Ordering items by their weight.

Each cup had a different material in it. Some were heavy, some were light. We first used a balance to measure the weight, then I let each of the children use their hands to figure out which they thought was heavier.

Exploring Magnets

We had so much fun learning how some things attract and some repel when you use magnets. Here the kids are each taking a turn picking up a pile of paper clips with a magnet. We also took turns moving things around with out touching them. It was neat!
