Much to my students dismay it hasn’t rained yet this year. Therefore we haven’t gotten to use our umbrella yet. 
So they were quite happy when they got to go in front of the class and open their own umbrella and say the sound for the short vowel “u”.
Landon’s was quick to open!

Natalie’s umbrella is as big as she is! But I am sure she will stay nice and dry when it rains!
She said her part very well!
Patrick got his figured out right a way too! What a fun way to practice our phonics sounds!!
