Bell Ringers from The Village at Cook Springs Retirement Home
We were blessed to have the Senior Citizens from a nearby retirement home call and ask if their Bell Ringing Choir could come to our school for a Christmas concert!
The whole school was able to attend.
A couple of their regular ringers were not able to come, so they asked for two volunteers. Miss Prior and Miss Russell graciously agreed to help out. (I think they had lots of fun!)
My class sat so still and loved the concert! At one point Tyler leaned over to me and whispered “I really like this!” 
Making Christmas Cards for Addie Lynn
I read about Addie Lynn’s story on a another teacher’s blog and decided my class needed to participate in helping make her Christmas wish come true. She is a 6 year old little girl who has a very unusual brain disorder and may not live to see another Christmas. Her wish is to receive as many Christmas cards as she can get this year. So I had my students make her cards (she loves homemade cards the best). We prayed for her and and family during our prayer time and hope that our cards will bring her some joy this year.

Christmas Party Day
Our day started off with a special all school chapel.
We enjoyed singing Christmas carols and fun Christmas songs including a pitiful rendition of the “12 Days of Christmas”
Mrs Bart blessed us with her beautiful violin music, and Mrs. Crotts (our Principal) told us a couple of Christmas stories.
Next we went back to our room and opened the gifts that I had given the children. (Christmas Sock Monkeys)
Anna had brought little treat bags for the kids as well. So sweet!
Then it was time to go to the Preschool building for our party!
Mrs. Angela and Miss Shelbey were all ready for us! 
Everyone had a special place to sit! (So that we could see and not bother our neighbors) 
Kayla’s mom (K4) graciously read us a Christmas story.
Not pictured is us making a snowflake Christmas ornament, singing “Come on Ring Those Bells” and opening our gifts.
We enjoyed pizza and cheese balls for lunch with a special cookie and “reindeer food” (chocolate party mix) for dessert.
Thank you to all the mom’s that helped get our food ready! Especially my room mother-Libby Jones! (you are so special!)
